Legal Representation

For Survivors. By Someone Who Knows.

You didn’t come here by accident.

Something happened to you, or to someone you love, and you’re trying to figure out what comes next.

I’m an attorney. But first, I was a survivor. I built my practice because I know what it means to navigate the aftermath of violent crime—not just professionally, but personally.

Survivors have rights. Legal rights to be heard, to be protected, and to seek accountability. When those rights are ignored, minimized, or violated, you deserve someone who knows how to fight for them.

I’m here because I believe you deserve fierce, informed, and compassionate representation from someone who truly understands what you’ve been through.

Victims’ Rights Advocacy

Being the victim of a crime comes with legal rights, and those rights matter—even when the system fails to protect them.

Oklahoma law guarantees crime victims meaningful rights throughout the criminal justice process, including the right to be heard, the right to be informed, the right to be present, and the right to protection. But having rights on paper and having someone fight to enforce them are two very different things.

I represent crime victims in asserting their constitutional and statutory rights, whether that means ensuring your voice is heard in a criminal proceeding, challenging decisions that sideline or silence you, or holding institutions accountable when they fail to protect you.

This work is distinct from civil litigation. You don’t have to be pursuing a civil lawsuit to benefit from a victims’ rights advocate. If you’re navigating both, I’ll help you understand how they intersect and what options are available.

You May Have More Options Than You Know

Most people don’t realize that the criminal justice system isn’t the only path—and it isn’t always the right one.

Even if your abuser was never charged. Even if a case was dismissed. Even if you never reported what happened.

Civil litigation is a separate process that allows survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and other personal harms to pursue accountability—and, in some cases, financial compensation—through the civil court system.

You don’t need a criminal conviction. You don’t need to have reported. You simply deserve to understand your legal options.

Who I Represent

I represent survivors of:

  • Sexual assault and abuse
  • Domestic violence
  • Other violent crimes
  • Institutional failures that allowed abuse to occur
  • Civil rights violations arising from trauma and harm

Many of my clients are women and children—people who have been told, in one way or another, that their harm doesn’t matter or that they have no recourse.

I’m here to tell you differently.

Why This Work

I spent most of my legal career on the defense side of civil litigation. I was good at it. But over time, I couldn’t ignore the disconnect between where my skills were going and where my heart had always been.

I am a survivor of sexual violence. I know what it’s like to navigate a system that wasn’t built with you in mind. I know the self-doubt, the fear, and the exhaustion of trying to make people understand what happened to you—and why it matters.

I left a successful position to build a practice centered on this work because I believe survivors deserve exceptional legal representation.

This isn’t just my profession. It’s my purpose.

Let’s

Talk

Taking the first step is hard. I know that.

When you reach out, you won’t get a form letter or an immediate demand for details you’re not ready to share. You’ll get a real conversation with me—a chance to tell me what happened, ask your questions, and determine whether civil litigation or victims’ rights advocacy may be the right path for you.

There’s no pressure. There’s no judgment. Just someone who understands and knows how to fight for you.
